Every heavy piece gets evaluated — weight, mounting points, wall type, stud location. We never guess on a heavy installation.
We use anchors and hardware rated at minimum twice the piece weight. For pieces over 50 lbs, we anchor into studs whenever possible and use structural toggles when they're not available.
Older San Antonio homes in Alamo Heights, King William, and Terrell Hills often have plaster or concrete block walls. These need different bits and anchors — we arrive prepared for every wall type.
For very heavy pieces or pieces that need to be level and adjustable, we install French cleats — the most secure and reliable hanging system for heavy wall décor.
We carry full liability insurance. For expensive or irreplaceable pieces, working with an insured specialist isn't optional — it's the only responsible choice.
Some large mirrors and heavy pieces require two people or more for safe handling. We coordinate accordingly so no one is holding a 100-lb mirror while the other person tries to find a stud.
