How much does curtain installation cost in San Antonio?
Our minimum is $195 for the first hour, which includes labor, travel, and basic hardware. After the first hour, it's $125/hr prorated in 15-minute increments. Most curtain and drapery installations — including several windows in one session — are completed within the first hour.
How high should curtain rods be hung?
For most rooms, we recommend hanging the rod 4–6 inches above the window frame at minimum — and ideally at ceiling height for standard panel curtains. This makes the ceiling feel taller and the window look larger. We always confirm the height with you before drilling, accounting for your specific panel length and ceiling height.
Do I need to supply the curtain rods and hardware?
You can supply your own rods and brackets — we install whatever you have. If you haven't purchased hardware yet, we can advise on what type works best for your wall and window configuration before you buy. We carry basic brackets and anchors in the truck but don't stock decorative rods.
Can you install curtain rods on plaster or stucco walls in San Antonio?
Yes — plaster and stucco are common in older San Antonio homes and require different drill bits and anchors than standard drywall. We arrive prepared for both. Stucco walls in particular can crack if drilled incorrectly — we use the right technique and bit to avoid damage.
